Privacy
The short version: no accounts, no email gate, no form submissions, and no server to send anything to. Everything you type into the calculator stays in your browser.
What is not collected
- Your email address or phone number. There is no field for either, anywhere on this site.
- Your loan details. Balance, rate, term, lump sum, escrow, home value and PMI are used in the page and never transmitted.
- Your amortization schedule. It is generated in your browser, and the CSV is built from a Blob on your own machine — it is never uploaded.
- Your servicer. Selecting one prefills a published fee from a file already downloaded with the page. Nothing is looked up.
What is stored on your device
One item. When you move from the calculator to the amortization schedule, the loan figures you
entered are placed in your browser’s session storage under the key
rvr-loan so the schedule can follow them. Session storage is cleared when you close
the tab. It never leaves your device, and it is not readable by this site’s publisher or by
anyone else.
Hosting and logs
The site is static and served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. No logging is added on top of that, and no copy of it is received in an identifiable form.
Analytics
Google Search Console, and Plausible if and when it is added — a cookieless, aggregate-only analytics service. There is no Google Analytics on this site and no cross-site tracking. If Plausible is added it will be named here before it runs, and it will never receive calculator inputs.
Advertising
The site carries at most three manually placed advertising units per page. Ad networks set their own cookies and may use them for measurement and personalisation, under their own policies and whatever consent controls your browser and region provide. They receive nothing you typed into the calculator — the calculator does not transmit its inputs at all. There are no auto ads, and no unit changes based on your loan.
Your rights, and children
Because no personal data is held, there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete. If you email, that email is held until it is dealt with; ask and it will be deleted. The site is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The current version is dated 27 August 2026.
